He was born in Prato (Tuscany) on 11th October 1969 and was the greatest Italian gymnast.He was named “The Lord of the Rings” because he has dominated his speciality, the rings, in the nineties giving Italy excellent results and above all he won an Olympic Gold Medal at the Olympic Games of Atlanta in 1996.
